PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

LIVAMED 1 (Pitavastatin Calcium) is a potent medication classified as a statin, specifically designed to regulate lipid levels in the bloodstream by addressing fatty substances.

Primarily indicated for adults with primary hypercholesterolemia, including heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia, LIVAMED 1 (Pitavastatin Calcium) effectively lowers elevated levels of total cholesterol (TC) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C).

USAGE GUIDELINES:

LIVAMED 1 can be taken at any convenient time during the day. However, maintaining consistency by consuming the tablet at the same time each day is recommended, preferably in the evening.

Initially, the standard dosage is 1 mg once daily. Following a few weeks of treatment, you may consider adjusting the dose as necessary.

In adults, the maximum daily dose should not exceed 4 mg, except for individuals with liver impairment who should not exceed 2 mg per day.
