PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

NEBIMED 5 (Nebivolol HCL) is an exceptional beta-blocking medication that specifically targets β1 receptors, demonstrating high selectivity. Notably, in addition to its cardioselective properties, nebivolol elicits vasodilation through the induction of nitric oxide.

By inducing relaxation in blood vessels and reducing the heart rate, NEBIMED 5 optimizes blood flow, leading to improved circulation and lowered blood pressure.

USAGE GUIDELINES:

The standard daily dose for NEBIMED 5 is 5 mg, which can be taken as a single dose with or without food. In cases where higher doses are required, a maximum of 10 mg per day can be administered, divided into two separate doses with or without food.

To initiate treatment, it is advisable to commence with a low dose of 1.25 mg per day, gradually increasing to 2.5 mg per day after one week. Subsequently, the dosage can be raised to 5 mg per day and, if necessary, further increased to a maximum of 10 mg per day.

The therapeutic effects on blood pressure typically manifest within one to two weeks of initiating treatment.
