TELMIMED 40 (Telmisartan) belongs to the class of ARB non-peptide antihypertensive medications, specifically designed for the management of arterial hypertension.

Telmisartan is primarily utilized for the treatment of essential hypertension, which refers to high blood pressure without any underlying identifiable cause.

Moreover, Telmisartan is prescribed to mitigate cardiovascular events in adults at risk due to compromised blood flow to the heart or limbs, previous stroke, or high susceptibility to diabetes.

USAGE GUIDELINES:

The recommended dose of Telmisartan is one 40mg tablet per day, ideally taken at a consistent time. It can be consumed with or without food.

If you perceive the effect of Telmisartan to be excessively strong or weak, consult your healthcare provider to adjust the dosage based on your blood pressure readings.
